Bakti Olahraga Djarum Foundation has partnered with HYDROPLUS to launch a girls' football league titled ‘HYDROPLUS Soccer League’. Targeting the U-15 and U-18 age categories, the competition will be held in waves starting in early October 2025 across four cities: Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, and Kudus. A total of 90 teams, ranging from football schools to clubs and academies, will participate in the competition to vie for the championship title.
HYDROPLUS Group Brand Head, Yose Moriza, stated that the HYDROPLUS Soccer League addresses the demand from girls' football enthusiasts for a league-format competition designed to sharpen talent and cultivate young Indonesian female footballers capable of achieving world-class results. This aligns with the vision of HYDROPLUS as an isotonic drink brand that encourages the younger generation to stay active in their daily lives.

Meanwhile, HYDROPLUS Soccer League Program Director, Teddy Tjahjono, explained that the U-15 and U-18 girls' league is part of a roadmap for developing the ecosystem and training female footballers designed by the Bakti Olahraga Djarum Foundation. The HYDROPLUS Soccer League serves as a continuation of the MilkLife Soccer Challenge, which targets age groups 8, 10, and 12, as well as the HYDROPLUS Piala Pertiwi for U-14 and U-16.
“The HYDROPLUS Soccer League completes the development pyramid for the girls' football ecosystem, which began at the grassroots level with the MilkLife Soccer Challenge and early-age tournaments in the HYDROPLUS Piala Pertiwi. We hope this U-15 and U-18 league provides a platform for young female footballers to advance their careers toward a professional level,” said Teddy.
To achieve this, the HYDROPLUS Soccer League adopts a home-and-away format to ensure teenage players have a routine match schedule, allowing them to refine their techniques and skills on the field. In each city, matches will be held bi-weekly, giving athletes time to evaluate their performance and better prepare for subsequent games.
“By doing so, they are not only competing for a title but also utilizing this platform to evaluate and develop their skills, techniques, and game strategies. We hope that after participating in the HYDROPLUS Soccer League, they can transform into professional players recruited by top-tier clubs. Our goal is for this event to produce female footballers who can lead Indonesia to compete and excel on the world stage,” Teddy explained.
The HYDROPLUS Soccer League will run in Jakarta from October 4, 2025, to May 31, 2026, involving 16 teams in the U-15 category and 10 teams in the U-18 category. This will be followed by Bandung from October 11, 2025, to June 7, 2026 (16 teams U-15 and 8 teams U-18). Simultaneously, the competition will take place in Surabaya (8 teams U-15 and 8 teams U-18). Finally, Kudus will host the competition from January 3, 2026, to May 23, 2026 (16 teams U-15 and 8 teams U-18). The champions and runners-up from each city will earn a spot in the HYDROPLUS Soccer League All Stars 2025/2026, scheduled to take place in Kudus in July 2026.
For the U-15 category, each team will feature 9 players with a match duration of 2×25 minutes (10-minute break) played on a half-sized adult football field. Meanwhile, the U-18 category will feature 11-player teams competing for 2×35 minutes (10-minute break) on a full-sized adult football pitch.
The launch of this women's soccer league marks a promising development for young athletes pursuing professional careers. Among them is Albianca Raula, a MilkLife Soccer Challenge alumna who competed in the JSSL Singapore 7’s this year. In the HYDROPLUS Soccer League 2025/2026, Bianca will represent the Cipta Cendikia team. “I am thrilled that there is finally a dedicated women's soccer league, as I believe soccer is not just for men. I will continue to train hard to perform well in this league and earn a spot on the national team,” said Bianca.
Echoing Bianca’s sentiment, Raga Negeri Football Academy Technical Director Yopi Riwoe stated that the establishment of the HYDROPLUS Soccer League 2025/2026 is vital for the advancement of women's soccer in Indonesia. The league provides young athletes the opportunity to learn, hone their skills, and gain consistent match experience throughout the season. Beyond the athletes, the league also serves as a platform for coaches to improve training methods and refine game strategies.
