[2025 Seneng Minton Festival] Crowns New Champions

The 2025 SenengMinton Festival concluded successfully this afternoon, Tuesday (June 24), at the Djarum Sports Hall in Jati, Kudus. Three festival championship titles and one supporter award were claimed by four different schools.

The first-grade title was secured by MI NU Miftahul Ulum, the second-grade title by MI NU Imaduddin Hadiwarno, the third-grade title by SD NU Nawa Kartika, and the supporter award by MI Negeri Kudus.

Djarum Foundation Program Director for Sports, Yoppy Rosimin, stated that the first series of the 2025 SenengMinton Festival continues the success of two previous events, which were well-received by students and schools alike. He expressed hope that by fostering a love for badminton at the grassroots level through fun-based competitions, the event serves as a foundational step in identifying and nurturing future athletes.

“The SenengMinton Festival is a structured way to introduce badminton to young children by engaging school teachers, utilizing systematic games that inspire passion for the sport, and attracting broad participation. This is crucial for maintaining the badminton talent pipeline and preparing a golden generation of players through engaging competition,” said Yoppy.

First Grade

Winner : MI NU Miftahul Ulum

Runner-up : SD Unggulan Muslimat NU Kudus

Semifinalists : MI NU Imaduddin Hadiwarno and MI NU Pendidikan Islam

Second Grade

Winner : MI NU Imaduddin Hadiwarno

Runner-up : MI NU Pendidikan Islam

Semifinalists : MI NU Baitul Mukminin and MIN Kudus

Third Grade

Winner : SD NU Nawa Kartika

Runner-up : SDIT Umar Bin Khathab Kudus

Semifinalists : MI Muhammadiyah Al Tanbih and MI NU Imaduddin Hadiwarno

Supporter Competition

Winner : MI Negeri Kudus

Runner-up : MI NU Nurus Shofa
