Scorpion FC U-15 and Samba Persada Women U-18 Claim Top Spots in the HYDROPLUS Soccer League All Stars 2025/2026 Kudus Standings.

KUDUS, May 31, 2026 – The final week of the HYDROPLUS Soccer League Kudus 2025-2026, held at the Supersoccer Arena in Rendeng, Kudus, Central Java, on Sunday (May 31), delivered high-stakes action. In the U-15 category, Putri Surakarta secured their place in the national round alongside league leaders Scorpion FC after finishing as runners-up. Meanwhile, in the U-18 division, Samba Persada Women clinched the championship title following a victory against Putri Batang, concluding their campaign with a total of 34 points.

The HYDROPLUS Soccer League represents a tangible effort by the Djarum Foundation to expand competitive opportunities for young female footballers, fostering growth through consistent match experience. This competition complements the existing girls' football ecosystem, which begins at the grassroots level with the MilkLife Soccer Challenge (MLSC) for the U-8, U-10, and U-12 age groups, establishing a structured, sustainable pathway to the professional level.

HYDROPLUS Soccer League Program Director Teddy Tjahjono noted that the league stands as one of the few competitive, full-format youth women’s football leagues in Indonesia. Held across four regions—Jakarta, Bandung, Kudus, and Surabaya—the program is designed to accommodate emerging talent as they progress through their careers.

“We created the HYDROPLUS Soccer League as a platform to build upon our work with the MLSC. This is a vital stage in development that ensures continuity, allowing our young players to channel their talents. Moving forward, the champions and runners-up from each of the four regions will compete in the national HYDROPLUS Soccer League All-Stars round, which promises a highly competitive and engaging atmosphere,” Teddy said.

Beyond vying for national titles, the HYDROPLUS Soccer League All-Stars serves as a key scouting ground for the Indonesia U-16 national team. “The All-Stars concept is being implemented in Indonesia for the first time using a double round-robin format, bringing together eight teams from the four regions. Talent scouts will be on hand to identify players for the national team. They are being prepared for the Srikandi Merdeka Cup, scheduled for August at the Supersoccer Arena in Kudus. I wish everyone well in their training for the national round; it is a significant occasion,” Teddy added.

Kudus Deputy Regent Bellinda Birton, who attended the final week of the HYDROPLUS Soccer League Kudus 2025-2026, praised the development of girls' football, which began in the regency three years ago. She noted that the program not only uncovers potential talent but also provides positive socio-economic benefits to the Kudus community.

“I thank the Djarum Foundation for providing this positive venue for our youth to showcase their talents. Future national-level events in Kudus will undoubtedly be even more exciting. Thankfully, events like this generate a positive multiplier effect for the people of Kudus, from stimulating local SMEs to boosting accommodation. My hope is that this competition continues to produce quality athletes who make Kudus proud, following the path of our two local athletes, Della Citra Ayu Anggraini and Asyifa Sholawa Farizqi, who recently attended the national team training camp in France,” said Bellinda.

In the final U-15 match, Putri Surakarta faced Scorpion FC, who had already qualified for the national round after securing the top of the table in the previous matchday. Despite the league standing, the intensity remained high from the opening whistle.

Both teams played aggressively to secure the final three points, battling for possession in the midfield. Putri Surakarta threatened early with a free kick from captain Adinda Resti in the fourth minute, though the ball sailed over the bar. The deadlock was broken when Putri Surakarta defender Nadya Iqmaril Laili capitalized on an opportunity in front of the goal, slipping the ball past Scorpion FC goalkeeper Alya Putri Ariyanto to take a 1-0 lead.

Trailing by a goal, Scorpion FC attempted to build an attack, but the Putri Surakarta defense held firm, repeatedly breaking up plays. Putri Surakarta dominated the first half through intense pressing and fast-paced attacks that frequently penetrated Scorpion FC’s danger zone. Alya was forced to make several key saves to weather the opposition's pressure. Scorpion FC finally found momentum through a set-piece; a free-kick executed by Latisha Safa Berliana curled into the right side of the net in the 20th minute, leveling the score at 1-1 heading into halftime.

Entering the second half, Putri Surakarta continued to push for the lead by creating several chances. A corner kick from Adinda was capitalized on by Nadya, who flicked the ball into the net to make it 2-1. This lead motivated Putri Surakarta to secure their spot in the national round. The Solo-based club extended their lead to 3-1 through an Anissa Tri Nurjannah goal, assisted by Ika Wonda, wrapping up the victory for Putri Surakarta over Scorpion FC.

Putri Surakarta coach Syachban Yusuf praised his team's effort in securing three points and the final ticket to the HYDROPLUS Soccer League All Stars 2025/2026. “It was an exciting match as both teams were well-prepared and performed their best. Thank God we won 3-1, but there is still much to evaluate ahead of the national round. We will implement new training patterns to improve the team's ability to compete against teams from other regions,” said Syachban.

Ika Wonda, a graduate of the MilkLife Soccer Challenge Solo and key member of the Putri Surakarta team, also achieved individual success by winning the U-15 Top Scorer title. Positioned as a striker, Ika netted 31 goals throughout the competition. This progression in competition level has made Ika optimistic about her future as a professional footballer. “The match was quite difficult because our attacks were countered and blocked, but our coach encouraged us to stay confident from the sidelines. We supported each other and remained solid. We are now more motivated to perform in the national round because I have a dream to join the Indonesian women's national team,” said Ika.

On the other hand, despite the loss in their final match, Scorpion FC finished at the top of the standings with 42 points. In 15 matches throughout the season, Scorpion FC recorded 14 wins and suffered only one loss. Scorpion FC leaves with the pedigree of being the 2024 HYDROPLUS Soccer League U-14 champions. This result does not make the Kudus-based team complacent ahead of the HYDROPLUS Soccer League All Stars 2025/2026, which will take place in Kudus in July 2026. The event will bring together U-15 and U-18 champions and runners-up from four host cities: Surabaya, Jakarta, Kudus, and Bandung.

“Thank you to the Djarum Foundation and HYDROPLUS for providing a platform for these young women to compete. As we prepare to face teams from other regions in the national round, our evaluation is for the players to remain humble, as the national level will be different. We will conduct a thorough evaluation of both on-field play and off-field elements like team unity and chemistry,” explained Scorpion FC Assistant Coach Islam Andhika.

In the U-18 group, the competition between Samba Persada Women and Putri Batang for points was equally fierce. From the opening minutes of the first half, Samba Persada Women applied pressure that was turned into counter-attacks by Putri Batang. The persistence of both teams' attacking lines made for a hard-fought contest for possession. Samba Persada Women maintained a disciplined style of play to try and break down the tight Putri Batang defense, though several golden 1-on-1 opportunities for Samba Persada Women went unconverted. By the end of one minute of first-half stoppage time, the score remained deadlocked at 0-0.

Entering the second 35 minutes, Samba Persada Women’s tiki-taka style dominated the Putri Batang defensive zone. However, Samba Persada Women struggled with precision on their direct shots. In the 46th minute, Ratna Ayu Setyo Dewanti attempted a strike that sailed wide right of the net, followed by a missed opportunity from a scramble in the box by Jullysti Dayren Gianni Matui. As the contest intensified, Samba Persada Women were awarded a penalty following a foul in the box. Griselda Vivian Mariana converted the spot-kick to secure a 1-0 victory, clinching the top spot in the U-18 standings of the HYDROPLUS Soccer League Kudus 2025 – 2026 with 34 points. Despite the final-match loss, Putri Batang finished as runners-up with 25 points.

Samba Persada Women coach Ari Guntur Dewanto praised his team for their stellar performance throughout the competition, finishing with 11 wins and one draw in 12 matches. This success serves as a strong foundation for the upcoming HYDROPLUS Soccer League All Stars 2025/2026. "The national round will feature elite competition from every region. I see areas for growth that we will address over the next month, specifically in our attack, defense, and scoring. We emphasize that playing at the national level is an achievement earned through discipline and consistency, both on and off the pitch. We teach them to be good individuals before becoming good players, as attitude is paramount," Ari stated.

Towards the National Stage: HYDROPLUS Soccer League All Stars 2025/2026

With the Kudus regional competition concluded, the field for the national round is now set, joining representatives from Bandung and Surabaya. The HYDROPLUS Soccer League (HPSL) ALL STARS tournament is scheduled to take place at the Supersoccer Arena in Kudus from July 5-12, 2026.
