Maintaining Peak Physical Condition During the Ramadan and Eid Holiday Break

Jakarta | The second week of February 2026 marks the final series of matches for the HYDROPLUS Soccer League before the upcoming Ramadan break. This month-long hiatus is expected to be utilized effectively by participating teams in Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, and Kudus to maintain player fitness during the fasting period.

“Our message to all teams, coaches, and players is to prioritize conditioning during Ramadan. At a minimum, players should follow the programs provided by their coaches, as the coaches are best equipped to manage team fitness during the break,” stated HYDROPLUS Soccer League Program Director Teddy Tjahjono at the GSport Jagorawi Soccer Arena in Bogor, West Java, on Saturday morning (14/2).

Heading into the 20th week of the Jakarta U-15 category, Cipta Cendikia Football Academy remains atop the standings with an undefeated record and 60 points. Putri Tangsel City and Putri JP Jakarta round out the top three, separated by just a single point.

Meanwhile, in the U-18 girls’ division, Putri JP Jakarta leads the leaderboard with 30 points. They are followed closely by a tight pack consisting of Putri Tangsel City, Roket FC, Newland FA, and Raga Negeri, with only three points separating the five clubs in the standings.

In Surabaya, Arema FC Women holds the top spot in the U-15 girls’ category with 30 points, five points clear of both Tigers Football Academy and LH Bulog Jatim Putri. In the U-18 girls’ category, the top spot is held by Tigers Football Academy, with Arema FC Women trailing as their primary challenger.

In Bandung, the U-15 girls’ standings have seen a fierce rotation at the top between Akademi Persib Bandung and Mojang Priangan over the last two weeks, while Goal Aksis and Sijalak Putri remain in contention. In the U-18 girls’ division, Akademi Persib Bandung holds a firm lead with 28 points, six points ahead of second-place Putri Garut.

In Kudus, three clubs—Putri Surakarta, Scorpion FC, and Spegaku Balistha—are tied at 15 points heading into the Ramadan break. Samba Persada Women and PSW Putri Mataram Sleman follow with 12 points each, maintaining pressure on the top three in this youth league initiative sponsored by the Bakti Olahraga Djarum Foundation and HYDROPLUS.

Since the competition began in October 2025, Tjahjono noted that the HYDROPLUS Soccer League All Stars 2025/2026 has proceeded smoothly and remains highly competitive. He highlighted the emergence of young talent and consistent improvements in team and individual performances week to week. “The quality of the players is consistently improving,” he said.

“Because they play weekly, they are training three to four times a week in preparation. The significant improvement in quality compared to the earlier weeks of the season is very evident,” Tjahjono added.

Tjahjono noted that this quality growth is consistent across Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, and Kudus. He attributed this development to the presence of a structured competition, which gives players clear, measurable goals for their training. “This is evidence that the HYDROPLUS Soccer League All Stars 2025/2026 is on the right track to foster the development of women’s football in Indonesia,” he concluded.
