KUDUS – The roar of the MilkLife Soccer Challenge (MLSC) All Stars 2026 at the Supersoccer Arena (SSA) in Kudus on Wednesday (June 24, 2026) was not the only sound filling the venue. On the other side of the arena, hundreds of kindergarten students sat in rows, faces filled with concentration. Their small fingers were busy with crayons, colored pencils, and markers, filling in soccer-themed drawings titled “I Dare to Score a Goal”, creating an atmosphere just as vibrant as the matches on the pitch.
The coloring activity provided a space for children to express their imagination while experiencing the atmosphere of a girls' soccer tournament. While athletes competed on the field, the young participants learned about courage, creativity, and sportsmanship through the colors they chose.
Since midday, the competition area has been filled with joyful families. Parents accompanied their children, who brought their own coloring supplies. Some helped organize art materials, offered encouragement, or captured moments as the children became immersed in their activity.
Among the enthusiastic participants was Fati Abdillah (4), a student at Hadipolo Kindergarten. With her small fingers, Abdillah diligently finished the drawing of a soccer player before her. Despite her young age, she already held a simple hope expressed with conviction.
“I am joining the coloring contest. The picture is about soccer, and it’s fun. It’s not difficult. I want to win,” she said innocently while continuing her work.
Not far from where Abdillah sat, Rully Nur Sofia (5) also enjoyed every step of the coloring process. She chose pink and green to decorate her drawing because they are her favorite colors. For Sofia, the experience of participating in a contest amidst a soccer stadium atmosphere was a fun novelty that even nurtured dreams of becoming a professional female soccer athlete.
“I colored it pink and green because I like those colors. This is my first time joining here. I came with my mom. I’m happy, and I hope I win. There are many friends here,” she said with a wide smile.
For the young participants, the competition was more than just a contest. The opportunity to gather with peers, explore a new environment, and soak in the atmosphere of a sports tournament became a memorable early-childhood experience.
Parents and guardians shared similar sentiments, noting that the coloring competition held alongside the girls' soccer tournament provided an educational and entertaining space for children and families visiting the Supersoccer Arena in Kudus.
Aprilinda Setiarima, a guardian from RA Wasilatut Taqwa Tenggeles, said she brought six students specifically to participate. Linda, as she is known, noted that the competition serves as a valuable tool for fostering confidence, creativity, and a sense of responsibility in young children.
“I find it very engaging; it encourages children to be more courageous, intelligent, and responsible. While waiting for the children, we can also enjoy the exciting girls' soccer matches,” she said.
According to Linda, combining creative activities with sports provides significant benefits for families. Children gain new experiences, while parents can enjoy the matches without having to worry about their children being occupied with unproductive tasks.
She also praised the Supersoccer Arena facilities, describing them as comfortable and family-friendly. The variety of supporting activities ensures visitors remain engaged throughout their time at the stadium.
“The impression is excellent. The stadium is beautiful, clean, and well-organized. Kudus doesn't have many sports facilities like this. It makes the children happy and the parents comfortable,” she added.
The MilkLife coloring competition is part of the MilkLife Soccer Challenge All Stars 2026 series held at the Supersoccer Arena Kudus. In addition to the kindergarten coloring contest on June 24, organizers also hosted a drawing competition for elementary school students in grades 1 through 4 on June 25, 2026.
These side activities have enriched the visitor experience during the tournament. The Supersoccer Arena Kudus has become more than just a venue for girls' soccer; it serves as an interactive hub where children, parents, and the community can engage in creative pursuits within a sporting environment. Through this series of events, the spirit of sportsmanship is introduced to children at an early age, while the tournament provides broader benefits to the families and community members attending the event.
