Information
Hadiyanto was a pivotal figure in Indonesian badminton from the late 1970s to the early 1980s. Joining PB Djarum in 1974, around the same time as Liem Swie King, his profile rose after winning the men's singles title at the 1978 Penang Open, followed by the 1979 Malaysia Open crown. During the 1980 World Championships in Jakarta, Hadiyanto joined Rudy Hartono, Liem Swie King, and Lius Pongoh in an all-Indonesian semifinal lineup. He was also a member of the Indonesian Thomas Cup teams in 1979, 1982, and 1984.
